Higher Places II, 2021
£0.00
Higher Places II is an abstract meditation on transformation, where life, death, and renewal merge into a fluid, open-ended vision. Symbols of eternity appear—traces of the number eight, forms that may echo a cross or crucifixion, shapes suggesting fruit, fertility, and the endless cycle of creation. These elements emerge and dissolve, inviting contemplation on what lies beyond the visible.
The composition resists definition, allowing space for personal interpretation. A tension exists between the seen and the unseen, the transient and the eternal. The painting moves between the earthly and the spiritual, offering a moment of reflection on what continues, what is reborn, and what is left behind.
